Collection: Fougere

The Fougère fragrance family is based on fragrant woods, offering scents that range from dry and smooth to earthy and dark, reminiscent of forest depths. Named after the French word for "fern," Fougère fragrances originated with Houbigant's Fougère Royale in 1882. Softer and more powdery than Green fragrances, Fougères are aromatic with a typical use of herbs such as lavender, thyme, sage and rosemary. Fougères evoke the forest floor with its mosses, resinous pine needles, and crushed bracken.
