Terre d’Inde opens in swathes of bright light, mandarin and bitter orange shimmer like the sun’s waves beating down on an arid expanse, warming the terrain underfoot. The aromatic spices of turmeric and immortelle represent red clay, with swirls of incense smoke blowing as the breath of the earth. A distant air of geranium and jasmine provide a delicacy to this elemental fragrance.
